The Showman's Show 2013

Monday, 28 October 2013 12:38

Once again the staff of European Vacuum Drainage Systems has made the trip over to Newbury to visit the annual Showman’s Show; the outdoor event services exhibition.

Just like last year we focused our attention on exhibitors who sell or produce mobile toilet systems designed to be used in remote locations. We had a great response last year so much so that Just Loos, luxury toilet hire and manufacturer are the latest supplier in this field to adopt Evac vacuum technology into their mobile systems and featured Evac toilets at this years show.

EVDS Filling in the Gap where Conventional Drainage Could Not...

EVDS have just commissioned a new system at a Bupa dental centre in the city of London. The Bupa dental centre on Cornhill has relocated to a new purpose built centre which has been designed to provide the highest standards of care and comfort, along with the very latest technology.

The planning stages of the building found that it would not be possible for conventional drainage pipe work to be routed to the basement level of the centre, the flexibility of the Evac system where pipe work can be routed over, under or around obstacles was obviously an ideal solution.

Hygiene was a paramount issue in this medical environment.  The complete pipe work system of an Evac system is held under a vacuum, meaning it is impossible for infestations of pests to live and breed in the drainage.  In addition to this every Evac system, when installed, is a closed loop, particularly important in this hygiene conscious environment which would require that waste must be contained to avoid any contamination.
